Medical uses for salt

SALT, this simple thing has changed life of humans a whole lot. Salt is one of the most important ingredient for human life. When we think of some things that salt can help with. We think of sore throats, toothaches, painful gums, bee stings and mosquito bites, But actually salt has an endless ability for healing.

Sore throat

Use salt as a gargle. A salt water gargle. 1 teaspoon with 8 ounces of water in a cup. Gargle several times during the day. If it persists for longer than 3 days. See your doctor or physician.

Painful Gums

Use 1 teaspoon of salt with 4 ounces of warm water if you suffer from painful gums. Salt will help deal with the infection. Please see a dentist as soon as possible.

Tooth ache

If you have a tooth ache. Salt can provide temporary relief. Use 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 8 ounces warm water. Gargle the mixture 3 times daily to help ease a sore throat. If it persists. Please see your doctor or physician.

Bee stings and bug bites

Make a mixture of water and salt. Apply the paste. Leave it to dry. It should help to relieve any pain and itching. Bee sting. Combine equal amounts of baking soda and salt. Brush it over the bee sting. It will help relieve the itching. Mosquito bite. You can treat a bite from mosquito with salt water. Then make an ointment of salt and lard. Apply on the affected area.
