We all know that water is good for us. We have already talked about Benefits of Water Just as the previous article discussed. Many benefits. But most feel that they don't know how to fit 8 glasses into each day. But before we discuss that. Not all need the same amount of water. The average is about 2.2 liters.

So here I want to share a few ideas and tips on how to fit so much water into each day.

  • Make sure you have a bottle filled with water. Keep in reach so you can drink.
  • Drink a glass of water several times a day. Don't sip. Drink the full glass. Just after filling it up.
  • Habits are said to take 30 days to make. Mark on a calender or diary. By the end of 30 days it will be part of your routine.
  • Drink a glass every hour. When you are done for the day. School or work. You had your water.
  • After making a trip to a restroom. Drink a glass of water. Replenish your system.
  • Write your reasons why you want to drink water. Set an amount and goal you want to have. That will motivate you to drink water.
  • Snack on ice cubes. Just like you would candy. Ideal for summer days. Do that through the day. It will help you fill your quota.
  • Have a 2 liter bottle filled every day. Your goal is to finish that bottle before you leave work.
  • If you are having juice. Fill it half with ice and then juice. Consume all of it.
  • Have a large cup filled with ice. Now just keep refilling ot with water. Use a straw as the bigger sips you take the more water you drink.
  • Drink two glasses at water every before each meal. One before the meal. One after each meal. That way you don't snack too much also.
  • Water doesn't need to be cold to be good for you. Consider tea. But it is advised that caffeine robs your body of water.

Again I do repeat that for each person the amount of water needed is different. But as water is very healthy for us. I just showed that we can get 2 liters a day. Make it a goal. See how you feel after 30 days. See how you look. Water changes our appearance too. Skin looks fresh and clean. Hair looks healthier. And if weight loss is a concern for you. water removes toxins. Now that the box is filled. You kick it around on the floor. The idea is to kick the box forward a few inches. Not to make it fly through the air. This way you get maximum benefit.

Most soccer players will know what this one is.  Going forward while using the inner sides of their feet. While keeping the ball centered in front of them. That is the idea to kick the box.

Scissors

On this exercise you don't need any equipment. All you need is some space on the floor. You can use an exercise mat if you prefer.

Lie on your side, prop your head up with your arm. Keep your legs straight and your toes pointed.
Lift one leg slowly, then just as slowly ease it back into position. Depending on the way you are laying on the floor. If you are on your right side. Lift your left leg in the air. Bring it back down. Flex your foot when doing the second lift. It will strengthen your calves. It is suggested to bring your leg down only part of the way. That way your muscles work harder and you will see results faster. Do 20 on each side.

Mango mojito

6 mint sprigs
3 cups cubed mango
2 thinly sliced limes
6 cups ice
Fill jug with water
Leave in the fridge for 2 hours

Strawberry kiwi cooler

3 cups strawberries, halved
3 kiwis, thinly sliced
2 lemons, thinly sliced
6 cups ice
Fill container with water
Leave in fridge for 2 hours

Cucumber quencher

6 mint sprigs
4 limes thinly sliced
6 cups ice
Fill pitcher with water
Leave in fridge for 2 almost hours

Orange berry

5 thinly sliced oranges
2 cups raspberries
6 cups ice
Fill jug with water
Leave in the fridge for 2 hours

Thirst quencher

1 cup strawberries
1 cup cucumber sliced
2 limes sliced
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
6 cups ice
Fill pitcher with water

All of these recipes can be made at home. It is most healthy and delicious. As seen all recipes are suggested to be left for 2 hours in fridge, but it is also fine to leave it for longer. The idea is that the taste of the fruit should be infused into the water.
